Ralph "the Jack Russell" Johnson was born September 14th, 1995; a smooth haired "Puddin" Jack Russell, now fully grown and weighing in at 18½ pounds. Ralph is typical of the breed; more energy and tenacity than any average human can deal with, a totally disgusting attitude towards life, authority, and other beings. An active member of the Jack Russell Terrier Club of Canada, Ralph is halfway through a certification course which will enable him to work in palliative, geriatric, and pediatric care at local hospitals. He was hoping for the orthopedic surgery department. True to his hunting heritage he has dispatched 2 squirrels to squirrel heaven, later consuming them a la tartare, and is now eying larger game (groundhogs).

If you ever consider sharing your life with a Russell, visit: It is often said that people resemble their dogs peculiarities and characteristics. In my case this is true with the exception of the squirrels!
